P.E.A.R.L.S.  Which stands for, Personal, Responsibility, Entrepreneurship, Achievement Respect, Leadership, and Success.) It’s an all girls group that contain a group of girls, in which you talk about things that you feel comfortable about. There are many different female mentors; Including Ms.Carter, Ms. Balldarious, Ms. Catherine, Ms. Cosby, and Ms. Porter. My own mentor was Ms. Cosby. I had a great experience working with P.E.A.R.L.S. I learned new things.  

The girls in the group learned how to be comfortable with them, and learn how to get along with each other. They also help each other learn things they didn’t know. In ways like learning things we never knew about. Also we learned how to trust one another.  

The mentors took us on an expensive retreat to Galena, Illinois. We played games that helped us learn about each other. We learned how to eat healthy. We learned how to be in a different environment. We learned how to do a resume for a job. The girls also talked about how we felt when we looked in the mirror. The retreat also helped me learn to be around different cultures and communities.  

If P.E.A.R.L.S. was a choice to choose to be in again I would return back.
